Daniel Lopes holds a PHD in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Law. His main research areas are reconciliation, mediation, conflict resolution processes and peacebuilding, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Public Law at the University of Bordeaux. He is also a Research Assistant in the project, participating in the coordination of the Bordeaux Group activities. Mr. Lopes was involved in the project since its beginning as a member of the Bordeaux subgroup working on the Collège des sages in Burkina Faso.
